Tilapia with Capers and Cilantro
Many people don't think they like capers, however they have a slight pepery taste and pare perfectly with fish, lemon & white wine. Give them a try.
Servings: 4
Prep time: 10 min
Cooking time: 10 to 15 min
Ready to eat in: 25 min
Utensils:skillet, spatula
- 4 Tilapia fillets
- olive oil for sautéing
- sea salt
- fresh ground pepper
- 2 tsp capers
- dry white wine
- 1 lemon
- fresh cilantro
Directions
Season fish with salt and pepper. Sauté in olive oil. At end of cooking add capers and a splash of white wine. Turn off heat and squeeze half of the lemon onto the fish. Reserve the other half for the table. Serve covered with the fresh cilantro. Shown here served with rice, avocado and pickled ginger.
