  Moving a Mattress

Moving a king or queen mattress is a total pain in the .... I cannot comprehend why the manufactures refuse to put a handle in the ends of mattresses so you can carry them. So here is a easy convenient method to use. Tighten a cargo strap or rope around the center, it will give you a good grip for moving your mattress.

  Extension Cord Hanger

Extension cords and ropes are usually too large for most hangers and nails. Some small pieces of 1/2" electrical conduit and a 2x4 make a custom hanger. I usually angle the conduit up a few degrees, but it is not necessary. If you conduit does not fit tight, wrap masking tape around the end until you get a tight fit then drive the conduit into the hole.
