Gluten Free Turkey Pot Pie

A quick simple lunch or dinner that is gluten free and dairy free. Get the recipe for the dairy free scalloped potatoes. What is Alpha-gal?

Utensils: Ramekins, rolling pin, frying pan

Farm
1 lb ground turkey
½ tsp thyme
sea salt & fresh ground pepper
½ cup spaghetti sauce
13 oz carton Pillsbury gluten free dough - found in the refrigerated section usually near the butters or cookie doughs

Directions

Brown the ground turkey, season with thyme, salt & pepper. Line the inside of the ramekins with the pre-made dough. Fill with the cooked ground turkey. Spoon spaghetti sauce over the turkey to fill the ramekin. Place a piece of dough on top, it can be crimped around the edges or cut a piece with a cookie cutter as in the photo. Bake at 350º F for 15 min or until golden brown. Serve with a salad and vegetable or potatoes.

Alternative Recipe Ideas

  • Can be made in a standard pie pan and sliced like pie for a traditional meat pie dish.
  • Add garlic and diced onions to the ground turkey if desired.
