Kale Chips

Never thought I would like kale, but these are addictive! Kale is so incredibly good for you. This is a yummy little snack, leave a bowl handy and munch a few each day. What an easy way to get: One cup of kale contains 36 calories, 5 grams of fiber, and 15% of the daily requirement of calcium and vitamin B6, 40% of magnesium, 180% of vitamin A, 200% of vitamin C, and 1,020% of vitamin K. It is also a good source of minerals copper, potassium, iron, manganese, and phosphorus. One of the top foods in the battle against cancer with anti oxidants and beta-carotene.

    Ready to eat in: 1 hr
Utensils: baking sheet pan

Kale Chips
1 or 2 bunches of kale
2 tea sea salt
½ cup olive oil
¼ tea cayenne pepper

Directions

Tear kale into bite size pieces, discard the stems. Mix above ingredients together and toss with the kale to coat kale. Spread evenly on a baking sheet and bake at 350º F for 20 min. Remove and stir or flip pieces. Put back into the oven for 10 more min. Remove, cool and enjoy.
